General Information London is the capital city of the United Kingdom. It is located in the south east of England on he River Thames. The City of London and the 32 boroughs that surround it make up what is known as the Greater area of London. It cover in area approximately, 1,580 square kilometres or 620 square miles. The 13 inner boroughs are Camden, Hackney, Hammersmith, Fulham, Haringey, Islington Kensington, Chelsea, Lambeth, Lewisham, Newham, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Wandsworth and the City of Westminster.
