We have attempted to break up the best places to visit in different groups based on areas within London. Each of these areas is covered in a "walk" which will take you through the streets of London as well as into many of the interesting sites.

General Information

London is the capital city of the United Kingdom. It is located in the south east of England on he River Thames. The City of London and the 32 boroughs that surround it make up what is known as the Greater area of London. It cover in area approximately, 1,580 square kilometres or 620 square miles. The 13 inner boroughs are Camden, Hackney, Hammersmith, Fulham, Haringey, Islington Kensington, Chelsea, Lambeth, Lewisham, Newham, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Wandsworth and the City of Westminster.

The population of London is about 7 million people, with the vast majority of these residing in outer London.
